The Marmalade Pantry unveils its collaboration with the talented culinary student and MasterChef Singapore’s runner-up Genevieve (Gen) Lee.

From March to October 2019, The Marmalade Pantry will be presenting three specially curated desserts conceptualised by Gen. The imaginative creations are available only at the bistro’s upcoming ION Orchard flagship outlet, which will open on 25 February 2019.

Gen’s three uniquely crafted confections are a lemon, thyme and blueberry cake and two sweet delights inspired by Asian desserts, such as kaya toast and mango sticky rice. These treats will be introduced together with a series of new creations and classic favourites in The Marmalade Pantry’s menu.

Currently pursuing a culinary degree at the Culinary Institute of America, Gen, aged 21, is paving her way into the food industry. Her dream is to be a chef with a strong culinary voice leading the charge in introducing a healthy nutritious food culture to all millennials. She also hopes to inspire generations to strive for their dreams, even if it is in a non-traditional field or a less prestigious occupation.

“We feast first with our eyes. Desserts have always intrigued me especially since understanding the intricacies behind curating them delectably and tastefully.

“I am honoured to be able to work with the team at The Marmalade Pantry to bring together three creations that can hopefully excite you from first sight to your taste buds and tummy!” says Gen.

The Marmalade Pantry ION Orchard is located on the 4th level of ION Orchard. More details on the opening will be released closer to the date. Stay tuned for updates on Facebook or Instagram.
