Here we go again – MAMMA MIA! is back in Singapore and we’re lovin’ it

“Mamma mia, here I go again
My my, how can I resist you?
Mamma mia, does it show again
My my, just how much I’ve missed you?”

Are you missing the original Mamma Mia! musical after watching Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, the 2018 follow-up of the 2008 movie adaptation?

Good news, the musical is back again in Singapore and is now showing at Marina Bay Sands! Details are available on the official website.

I am a fan of ABBA’s music and it’s great to catch the musical again in Singapore for a second time. I had a blast the last time I caught it in 2014, I enjoyed myself thoroughly again four years later. The songs featured in the musical are timeless classics which grows on you with each rendition.

The time-old tale of the relationship between a daughter and her mum, their quest to find out who is the father, set on a Greek island paradise. Sophie’s quest on her wedding day to discover the father she has never known brings her mum face-to-face with three men from her distant romantic past.

It is an enchanting story of love, laughter and friendship, which has captured the hearts of over 60 million people from around the world. And it is brought to life by the timeless, toe-tapping hits of ABBA.

I caught the opening night performance and love every bit of it:

It’s amazing how some things never go out of trend and the MAMA MIA! musical is one such!
