Halsey’s “Hopeless Fountain Kingdom World Tour” is happening on August 8

GRAMMY Award-nominated pop singer Halsey’s Hopeless Fountain Kingdom World Tour” has amassed half a million ticket sales since its run. Singapore fans will have to chance to catch the multi-talented artist live in concert on 8 August at The Star Theatre.

This will be Halsey’s first full-fledged concert in Singapore, following sold-out concert tours across the world. Singapore is the second stop of the Asian leg of the concert tour after Korea, and will be followed by shows in Philippines and Indonesia.

Speaking about her upcoming Singapore concert, Halsey shares excitedly, “It’s going to be a very special version of the show, very intimate. Just you, just me and some of our favourite songs. I hope I see you guys there.”

Shooting to fame with her self-penned single “Ghost” in 2014, Halsey’s edgy attitude and unique music took the world by storm. Her meteoric rise in the music scene has been unstoppable ever since. The electropop star released her debut studio album “Badlands” in 2015, which debuted #2 on the Billboard 200 chart and was certified gold by RIAA. The album, which included chart topping hits like “Colour”, “New Americana” and “Castle”, gained her legions of loyal fan following worldwide.

In 2017, Halsey received a GRAMMY nomination for “Closer”, her seven times platinum megahit collaboration with The Chainsmokers. More recently, the talented pop artist graced the stage of SNL with “Bad At Love”. She also performed with G-Eazy on their Bonnie and Clyde themed platinum-certified “Him & I” – a song which continues to dominate at #1 on Billboard’s Pop SongsAirplay Chart and #1 at Top 40 radio.

This marks her second #1 since “Closer”, which ruled radioat #1 for 11 weeks. In addition, her two double-platinum-certified singles, “Bad At Love” and “Now Or Never” from her sophomore album “Hopeless Fountain Kingdom”, also peaked top 3 at the Top 40 radio.

The last installment of the concert tour, “Hopeless Fountain Kingdom World Tour Singapore 2018”promises a highly energetic night of captivating music and stunning performance.
