Fans pass through a tunnel into a mystical realm of more than 20 virtual reality encounters and photo zones created in collaboration with South Korean technology giant SAMSUNG Electronics – including a dazzling LED corridor for very impressive photos and videos, the jungle, story books, camping, ice cave and VR roller coaster experience.

The 500 million baht, 1,500 sq.m. themed attraction is expected to attract 12 million visitors a year, with Thai fans flocking in droves. Over 94% of Thais on mobile use the messaging app, making Thailand its 2nd most important and largest market in the world.

The ‘world first’ themed attraction concept also incorporates a LINE VILLAGE STORE of collectible, limited edition merchandising of the mobile phone pop culture icons, from stationary and accessories to clothing and souvenirs; and a LINE VILLAGE SNACK BAR for themed snacks and drinks.

The cute, friendly LINE FRIENDS characters that LINE adopted as virtual stickers for chat messaging have since become a pop culture brand in their own right.

It has since become a global phenomenon with hundreds of millions of users in more than 230 countries and regions.

With a worldwide following for the adorable stickers, it is branded as a “global communication tool that could strengthen human relationships”.

Stores and cafes have meanwhile swept Asia and beyond, from Japan and South Korea to mainland China, Taiwan, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and Hong Kong, with outlets in Hysan Place, Causeway Bay, Langham Place, Mongkok and also USA in Broadway, Manhattan NYC
