This creative interpretation of 火鸡 (Chinese for turkey) is available for just S$1 at Dragon Bowl

I have never really like turkey meat because it tends to be very tough and dry. If you are like me and prefer something more tender, yet die-die must eat a 火鸡 (Chinese for turkey) for Christmas, try this creative interpretation of 火鸡 by contemporary Cantonese cuisine and dim sum restaurant, Dragon Bowl (龙碗).

Flaming chicken!

The chicken is marinated and cooked with Dragon Bowl’s own sauce and drenched with Chinese rose wine before being presented to diners to be set on fire for the flaming effect.

Gimmick aside, the chicken is tender and flavourful, with the aroma or the rose wine infused into the chicken. It looks good, smells good and taste good. Best of all, the dish is available at just S$1, cheaper than a plate of chicken rice from your neighbourhood stall!

Terms and conditions apply of course. This deal is available with a minimum psend of S$80 nett in a single receipt, per bill, per table and valid only for DBS/POSB cardholders only (one more reason you should apply for a DBS/POSB credit card now). The promotion is available all-day from now till 31 December 2017 for dine-in only at all Dragon Bowl outlets.

If you are worried about a prohibitive bill to chalk up S$80 in meal spend, fret not, Dragon Bowl is running a 30% discount on their a la carte dim sum at the same time for lunchtime customers at their Marina Square outlet. This promotion is available all-day, inclusive of weekends, public holidays and eve of public holidays. Take a look at the wide selection of 33 dim sum items to choose from:
