Not all jeans are created equal. If you own a pair of jeans from Uniqlo, you would know how comfortable it is to be in one all day long.

Known for making jeans for every need and body type, the Japanese brand has launched three new types of jeans as part of this year’s Fall/Winter collection, taking inspiration from Los Angeles’ (LA) fashion style.

Women who want to appear tall can opt for the Women’s High Rise Cigarette Jeans ($59.90) – a sleek, straight cut pair which flatters the figure by accentuating the legs.

At the press event, I tried them on and was impressed as they’re not only easy to wear, they made me look thinner and taller too.

Ideal for flight wear, or just about any time when you want to feel comfortable, there’s the EZY Jeans ($49.90) for men and women. The fabric is so soft that you might feel like you are in sweatpants. Highly comfortable, it comes with an adjustable elastic waistband – perfect to survive a buffet bulge.

Men, too, can look their slimmest in a pair of jeans. The Ultra Stretch Skinny Fit Jeans ($59.90), which was previously available only for women, now comes in men’s version too. Incorporating a type of stretch fabric from high-quality Japanese denim, this style of jeans is Uniqlo’s most stretchy and slimmest jeans for men yet. Available in indigo, lightly pre-washed and aged black or white denim for more casual occasions.
