Cheap t-shirt printing is something we all want, be it when looking for tee printing services for school or for work. Retail shops at shopping centres known for their printing services? Or online printing shops?

We tested the hypothesis to see if retail shops had higher prices compared to online printing shops.

For online shops, we decided to choose an online t-shirt printing shop which gives automated price quotes. After getting the online price quote from The Noteway, we went down to a few retail shops in malls such as Queensway Shopping Centre and Bras Basah Shopping Complex. We also did research to compare the prices of these shops, against the price we got from online shops like The Noteway.

Here are the prices we got from retail t-shirt printing shops:

1. Ultra Supplies

One of the better-known shops at Queensway Shopping Centre, Ultra Supplies is the place to go for good quality t-shirt printing. They also have very good customer service. Even if they are busy, they take down your contact number and return your call within a day.

Best thing about them?

No minimum printing quantity! Note however, they only offer heat transfer, but no silk screen printing. It is surprising as silk screen printing is known to be one of highest quality, long-lasting and most commonly used printing methods in the market today. However, they still seem to be popular, so head on down to print your personalised Wonder Woman t-shirt or other small quantity prints.

Though they may not be one of the more well-known ones, they have a great deal of experience printing for educational institutions. If you are looking to print your class or school t-shirts, this would be the place to consider. To avoid disappointment, it is better to order large quantities from them as they seem not to entertain small quantities when they have many orders.

Printing services fit for the royalty in terms of quality and for the common man in terms of price. To put it simply, Queens Printing offers good quality printing at an affordable price. The service staff are quite friendly and help you make up your mind if you are unsure of what you want. They have heat transfer, silk screen printing and embroidery available so you can always check with them on what would suit your designs best.

Relatively cheap t-shirt printing served with a personal touch. With their colourful logo and hip vibe, they pull in the young crowd. Although they offer both silkscreen printing and heat transfer, a minimum quantity of 100 is required if you wish to opt for silkscreen printing. The staff are very friendly and responsive so if you are unsure about anything, feel free to ask them.

With their bright blue signboard and cute font, they are hard to miss when you step into Brash Basah Complex. Also one of the more popular choices for t-shirt printing. They are efficient and provide you with quotes on the spot.

There you have it! It seems like our hypothesis was right. Retail shops did prove to be generally more expensive, probably due to factors like rental and labour costs.  However, they are still a good option for those who prefer a personal touch.
