Claw away from the city crowd to the exclusivity of Sentosa Cove for a seafood feast that will satiate your crustacean cravings and pep up your afternoon.

I headed down last weekend with Rachel and Asher to enjoy some crab dishes. Here are the dishes we tried:

All the seafood served at the hotel are sourced from sustainable supplies, in line with the eco-friendly commitment of the hotel chain globally.

The chef shared that the items are kept a la carte so as to ensure guests get the best quality seafood and also to avoid unnecessary food wastage. I like that and the prices are kept reasonable too, with fixed prices on the crab versus ‘market rate’ pricing.

Must-try dishes are the two whole crab dishes – the crab curry kankrar’r jhol and the wok fried crab with tamarind and chili. The latter dish uses just two ingredients, but the flavours are strong and enhances the tastiness of the crab meat.

These two dishes are highly recommended because they carry distinctive flavours which are surprise delights to the tastebuds, deviating from the usual Singapore style Chili Crab and Black Pepper Crab options.

There are three more Saturdays left for you to enjoy this special promotion. Go try it!
