[GIVEAWAY] Spread the Christmas Cheer at Frasers Centrepoint Malls and “Play It Forward”

Frasers Centrepoint Malls is running its Spread the Christmas Cheer campaign which started on 13 November and will run till 25 December 2015.

The programme line-up creates a seamless and impactful way for shoppers to share the joys of the season with family, friends and the less fortunate. This includes Singapore’s first charity ball pool event – “Play it Forward”. The group will also raise funds for five Family Service Centres in Singapore serving disadvantaged families supported by the Community Chest.

While we celebrate during the festive period, let’s also pay it forward and share the joy with the less privileged. Other than shopping at the mall to make a donation, here’s another way you can help and be rewarded yourself – help share this post!

“Play it Forward” and Help Families in Need

This is Singapore’s first charity ball pool event. Spanning 64m2 or four fifth the size of a badminton court, the ball pool offers both adults and children a chance to dive in, unwind, de-stress and play in an “endless” colourful sea of balls. Fun aside; it also helps participants give back to the community by “playing it forward”.

Participants enjoy 15 minutes of free play in the ball pool with a minimum donation of S$5. Frasers Centrepoint Malls in turn will match donations dollar-for-dollar for up to S$30,000.

Under the Care & Share Movement, total donations from now till 31 March 2016 will also be matched dollar-for-dollar by the Government.

The ball pool is a year-long initiative organised by Frasers Centrepoint Malls in partnership with Community Chest aimed at raising funds for Family Service Centres, which serve as community-based focal points of family resources that provide social support for families facing difficulties. The first run of the ball pool takes place on 22 November 2015 at Causeway Point, Central Atrium (Level 1), from 10am to 10pm.

To further spread the Christmas cheer, participants that day will also stand to win $10,000 worth of prizes sponsored by generous retailers from Causeway Point.

Christmas Rewards to Brighten up your Day

Shoppers who use their Citibank Cards from 13 November to 25 December 2015 will receive a S$5 rebate from Frasers Centrepoint Malls.

Brighten up Your Rainy Day with a Jolly Colour-Changing Umbrella

From 1 to 25 December 2015, you also receive a gift with purchase – a unique colour-changing umbrella, with a minimum S$100 spend in 3 same-day, same-mall receipts at The Centrepoint, Changi City Point, Bedok Point, Anchorpoint, China Square Central, Robertson Walk and Valley Point; and a S$200 spend in 3 same-day, same-mall receipts at Causeway Point, Northpoint, YewTee Point and Eastpoint Mall. In the spirit of spreading the festive cheer, Frasers Centrepoint Malls will release a Reindeer E-greeter on 11 December 2015, featuring an acapella reindeer quartet that shares personalised messages with friends and families through SMS or popular messaging apps WhatsApp and Line in addition to social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

Tag It to Win It, Spreading More Christmas Cheer

As a Christmas icon best known for its classic folktale role in helping to spread Christmas cheer, reindeers are naturally a bold fixture in this year’s Christmas decorations. Shoppers are invited to revel in the Christmas season at the malls together with up to nine family and friends by taking a photograph against the backdrop of mall decorations and uploading this on their public Facebook and/or Instagram accounts, using the tag @FrasersCentrepointMalls and the hashtag #SpreadTheCheer. The best 40 submissions will win a S$25 Frasers Centrepoint Malls Gift Card for each person tagged in the photo, up to a maximum of 10 Gift Cards. Contest runs from 20 November.
