Hong Kong lifestyle label, Goods of Desire (G.O.D.) is arriving in Singapore soon!
Rachel and I love their stores in Hong Kong. We will be moving into our first HDB flat of our our own soon; the timing is just right for us to grab some of their lifestyle products to add a touch of quirkiness to our home.
Due to open at the end of June at Central in Clarke Quay, the store will be the brand’s first flagship store outside of Hong Kong. The G.O.D. brand is being brought in by LifeStyle Scene Pte Ltd, who holds the exclusive license for the brand in Singapore. The flagship store will occupy more than 6,000 square feet of retail space and carry a broad range of G.O.D.’s signature fashion, gifts, home ware, and furniture collections.
Here’s a look at the quirky press kit which their PR sent to me last week:
I can’t wait for the store opening…

More about G.O.D.
Quintessentially Hong Kong, the brand’s name is originally derived from the Cantonese phrase “住好啲”, which means “to live better”. In Singapore, the brand is officially represented as “Goods of Desire” to reflect its pioneering of the future lifestyle retail scene with cutting-edge designs that embody the ideal of living better.
Co-founded by architects Douglas Young and Benjamin Lau in 1996 as a retail space in Ap Lei Chau (鴨脷洲), Goods of Desire presently has eight stores located throughout Hong Kong. Fiercely proud of its Hong Kong roots, Goods of Desire draws inspiration for its award-winning designs from the city’s vibrant heritage, preserving its unique cultural legacy through a lens of humor and creativity.
