This arrived in the mail more than a week ago:
The name’s La Sardina. No, it is not a can of premium sardine. It’s a lomographic camera disguised as a can of premium sardine.
The camera is loaned to me as a participant in the LoBlography Blogger Challenge Singapore, organised by LOMOGRAPHY.COM, an online analogue shop with a wide selection of lomographic and analogue products.
I was really looking forward to toying around with the La Sardina, being somewhat of an photography enthusiast… then I got sick with stomach flu. Even as I am blogging now, I have not fully recovered and have been spending most of my time either in bed or in the toilet.
Hence I had no choice but to engage help from a next better player: I handed over the La Sardina to my sister-in-law, Eunice and tasked her to take some nice pictures of my son Asher, among other images. She should be done with the roll of film by next week. Stay tuned to this blog for updates. 🙂
