I love the Vietnamese Baguettes and Soda Chanh (sour plum soda) from this place. I can drink the latter everyday and be very contented. Baguette – The Viet Inspired Deli used to have an outlet at Raffles City basement which I frequent. It closed down some time back due to poor business even though the food was really good.
I was delighted when I realised recently that they managed to bounce back with a few branches since. I ate at the VivoCity branch a few weeks back and was pleased with the quality.
I have not been to Vietnam nor tried authentic Vietnamese food, but what I ate at Baguette, I like, regardless if it was authentic or customised for local taste buds.
There’s lots of vegetables in the baguette, making it a healthy choice. Prices are reasonable too at around $8 to $12 for set meal inclusive of a baguette/rice or noodle dish, a side and a drink.
Baguette currently has four outlets in Singapore. You can find out more about Baguette via its official website.
