Rachel and I attended a unique wedding over the weekend. The groom and bride met when they were little kids in the same primary school and had been together like forever, finally tying the knot yesterday.
The wedding ceremony was held in the primary school where they met and the guests were told to come dressed in school uniform.
The bride bought a set of Gongshang Primary pinafore school uniform for Rachel to wear. I opted to wear a suit that looks like the typical Japanese high school uniform.
It was a fun wedding. The solemnisation was held in a classroom with powerpoint slide shows and classroom notepads. The groom and bride gamely changed into their respective school uniform too after the ceremony.
This is the first time in my life I have seen so many extremely over-aged retained students. 🙂

Hi Alvin
Hi, can I have the contact of the wedding couple? You know we love to feature unusual weddings in the Singapore Book of Records.
That is so cool! And there has been a resurgence of nostalgia on social media lately, so I believe this idea would become popular again. Thanks for sharing!
