Trattoria Cucina Italiana (313 @ Somerset)

Rachel and I went to try out this Italian restaurant, Trattoria Cucina Italiana, as recommended by her younger sister, Eunice. The price was average, not really expensive, but not worth it for the mediocre food.

I can’t remember the names of the two pasta we ordered except they were unremarkable. Mine had a strong fishy taste while Rachel’s pasta was tough and crunchy, obviously overcooked.

I won’t say the food was bad, but they did not impress either. The canteen opposite our office in Toa Payoh serves better pasta than them at a lower price.

The service was pretty okay though. The staff were polite and prompt.

We won’t visit this place again. Sorry Eunice, the food really not nice lei…
