Cosfest VIII took place over two days during the weekend of 11 and 12 July at Downtown East, Pasir Ris. Organised by the Singapore Cosplay Club, it is already 8 years in the running. For a background on the previous years events, you can read my entries on Cosfest 2007 and Cosfest 2008.
This year, I went with my friend, Kaili who has never been to Cosfest before. She enjoyed herself and was impressed by the efforts the cosplayers put into making the costumes.
While Kaili sat by the stage watching the cosplay competition, I wandered around constantly to take pictures of as many cosplayers as I can. As years go by, I find myself increasingly unable to keep up with the anime, manga or game characters cosplayed. Hence please pardon me if I name some of the characters below wrongly. 🙂

btw the three 'unknown' cosplayers (the butler, the blue-dressed & the lady with floral hat) are characters from 'the black butler'...
uh, helloooooo?! the girl eating the "celery", which is supposed to be a leek, is Miku Hatsune, a Vocaloid! and the girl with the oversized sailor uniform is from Lucky Star at the end of every episode during Lucky Channel! why did u think she was standing next to a Lucky Channel sign? have u ever watched Lucky Star? or do u know anything about the Vocaloids?
Somehow I randomly came across this particular thing while googling stuff... Bahaahaa, okay, so those "urban street fighters" are from Katekyo Hitman Reborn, as well as that "eyepatch girl" and the guy with the "nice hair".
The picture with "Naruto and Bleach", are really just two characters from Naruto (Sasuke and Naruto). Everything else I think has been commented upon by other people... or will be x]
im actually kind of upset that you dont know who miku hatsune is and black butler, or Rei from evangelion, not eva...:(
...and the scary nurses are from silent hill...

seems like you don't even know the basic animes.
