This year, I spent my May Day with some of the ex-Youth.SG crew and the current Editor. The super intern during my era, Melvin Ryan Tan, brought us to Pitstop Cafe to speed-play board games.
Here’s a group photo taken at the cafe:
From Left to Right: Melvin Ryan Tan – super long serving intern who still reads Youth.SG daily even when he is serving NS now; Low Lai Chow – current Editor; Rachel Chan – the fiercest ever intern who dared to scold the MCYS bosses; Alvin Lim – the 2nd Generation Webmaster; Julian Lim – the 1st ever Webmaster
Three generations of Youth.SG: represented by the three goons who made it happened. 🙂 Which era do you like best? Julian’s, Alvin’s or Lai Chow’s? (better be MINE, hahaha)
Anyway, Lai Chow also wrote an entry about this on where else, but Youth.SG itself. It’s a much more interesting post than mine as I have always been lazy with words. Do read it.
On our way home, Julian remarked that if we gather all the Youth.SG alumni, we can probably form a small company. During my time alone, there were more than 10 staff who came and went – Melvin, Nicole, Rachel, Jiali, Ziana, Kaiyan, Cassandra, Calvin, Kenny, etc. This is excluding the volunteers and bloggers who contributed articles here and there – Atiqah, Kumaran, Han Ting, Ding An, Yuting, Xiaohao, Zak, Ephraim, Michelle, Martino, the Twohill siblings, etc.
Amazing hor?
