Changi Airport and Jewel Changi Airport are celebrating Singapore’s 61st National Day with a packed programme of cultural experiences, live entertainment, family activities and exclusive shopping promotions running throughout July and August 2026.

One of the biggest highlights is the launch of A Taste & Touch of Peranakan Heritage at Jewel, taking place from 1 August to 31 December at Level 5. Held in collaboration with Baba Nyonya Restaurant, the experience invites visitors to discover Peranakan culture through a food sampling platter, a traditional costume experience complete with photo opportunities on the Canopy Bridge, and a bookmark making workshop. Each ticket also includes admission to Jewel Canopy Park and the Canopy Bridge, along with a S$5 Jewel Retail Voucher. Tickets are priced from S$46.
Returning for National Day is the popular “Home” Light & Music Showcase at the Jewel Rain Vortex from 1 to 31 August. The multimedia display pays tribute to Kit Chan’s iconic National Day song, Home, with nightly performances at 8pm and 9pm from Monday to Thursday, while Friday through Sunday, public holiday eves and public holidays will feature an additional 10pm show.
Visitors can also enjoy a range of National Day shopping rewards across Jewel from 1 to 30 August. Mastercard shoppers who accumulate up to three same day receipts can receive a S$10 Jewel Gift Voucher and one Gachapon token with a minimum spend of S$200, or a S$50 Jewel Gift Voucher and two Gachapon tokens with S$400 spent. Overseas visitors who qualify can also redeem a limited-edition Jewel Mr. Merlion plush keychain worth S$23 by presenting their foreign passport.
From 7 to 10 August, Singapore residents can take advantage of a 1 for 1 promotion on individual attraction tickets at Jewel Canopy Park. The offer is valid for visits from 7 to 31 August and excludes Canopy Park admission tickets and attraction bundles.
Across Changi Airport’s public areas, shoppers can enjoy the return of the popular 2XGST shopping promotion on selected weekends from 24 July through 9 August. Changi Rewards members who spend at least S$30 in a single receipt at more than 35 participating retail outlets in Terminals 1 to 4 can enjoy combined savings of 18 percent. Customers who pay with Mastercard through Changi Pay can also receive a S$5 eVoucher with a minimum S$60 spend or a S$12 eVoucher with S$100 spent.

Adding to the festive atmosphere are National Day themed horticultural displays across all four terminals from 23 July to 31 August. Highlights include a six metre illuminated bougainvillea tree at Terminal 2 Departure Hall featuring the specially named Dendrobium “Singapore Changi Airport” and Bougainvillea “Changi Airport” varieties. Terminal 3 Departure Hall will also showcase moving kinetic butterflies alongside a four-metre display of Singapore’s national flower, the Vanda Miss Joaquim.
Music lovers can catch Music Escapades at Terminal 3 Departure Hall on 1 and 2 August, where more than 700 musicians from 16 school and community bands will perform National Day favourites and contemporary hits.
From 3 to 31 August, visitors can participate in the Buddy Bear Stamp Hunt by spending at least S$28 at Hub & Spoke Café, Gift by Changi Airport or Changi Experience Studio. Those who collect all six stamps can redeem an exclusive Buddy Bear keychain.
Families visiting ST3PS at Terminal 3 Basement 2 during the National Day weekend can look forward to games, giveaways and entertainment on 8 and 9 August. The programme includes meet and greet sessions with Minions on 8 August and My Little Pony characters on 9 August, alongside performances by local artistes Ben Hum and Boon Hui Lu. The National Day Parade will also be screened live at ST3PS on 9 August, while Changi Rewards members who spend S$50 can receive a complimentary Meet and Greet Photo Pass.
From mid-July through September, Singapore inspired pop ups at Terminals 2 and 3 will feature merchandise from popular characters including Snoopy, Sanrio, Ang Ku Kueh Girl and Mr Kiasu. Visitors can also explore Mr. Merlion Town, which returns with exclusive collectibles, nostalgic Mamak Shop displays, interactive games and themed photo opportunities.

Passengers travelling through the transit areas will also enjoy exclusive entertainment. On 8 August, Singapore singer songwriter Charlie Lim will perform at Terminal 3 Transit, accompanied by live typewriter poetry sessions by Aisyah Sahruddin in partnership with the National Arts Council. Travellers can bring home personalised poems created on limited edition postcards.
Shoppers at Lotte Duty Free can join the SG61 Celebrate Together campaign from 1 July to 31 August. Customers who spend at least S$61 can play the Time Machine game for a chance to win a S$16 voucher by stopping the timer at exactly 6.1 seconds. Singapore passport holders shopping at arrival or departure outlets will also receive a S$10 arrival voucher for their next visit.
Throughout August, travellers can also enjoy additional National Day promotions at participating retailers and dining outlets across the airport. These include special offers from Swarovski and Pazzion, as well as limited edition local inspired menu items such as Tip Top’s Chili Crab Puff and Harry’s National Day menu featuring Chicken Rice Spaghettini, Kaya Butter Pizza and other Singapore inspired dishes.
With cultural activities, family friendly attractions, live performances and exclusive retail rewards taking place across Jewel and Changi Airport, visitors will have plenty of opportunities to celebrate Singapore’s National Day throughout the festive season.
