RIMOWA has unveiled Ink Blue, a new permanent colourway for its signature Original collection, expanding its iconic range of aluminium luggage with a sophisticated midnight blue finish inspired by the enduring beauty of ink.
Known for its distinctive aluminium suitcases, RIMOWA has reimagined the Original collection over the years through its signature colour anodisation process. The new Ink Blue joins the lineup as a permanent offering, combining a deep, luminous midnight shade with the metallic character of aluminium to create a timeless look that blends heritage with modern design.
To mark the launch, RIMOWA has released a short film starring American actress Sydney Lemmon. Set in Shanghai, the film follows her character as she embarks on a journey in search of love after receiving a series of handwritten letters in ink calligraphy. Guided through the city’s aquariums and karaoke lounges, her Ink Blue RIMOWA suitcase accompanies her throughout the story.
The new colourway extends beyond luggage into the RIMOWA Groove collection. Customers can choose from the Groove Cross Body Bag in both Small and Large sizes, as well as the Groove Zipped Pouch, all finished in Ink Blue.
RIMOWA is also introducing a coordinated range of seasonal travel accessories. The collection includes a reversible bucket hat with a matching travel pouch, marking the first time the brand has released this accessory. Also joining the range are the Toiletry Pouch Trifold and Packing Cubes in a complementary Denim colourway, allowing travellers to coordinate their travel essentials.
From 9 July 2026, the RIMOWA Original Cabin in Ink Blue will retail for S$2,080, while the Original Check-In L is priced at S$2,600 and the Original Trunk Plus at S$3,380.
The Ink Blue Groove Cross Body Bag will be available in Small and Large sizes at S$1,600 and S$2,360 respectively, while the Groove Zipped Pouch is priced at S$730.
The seasonal accessories include the Toiletry Pouch Trifold in Denim at S$430, the Packing Cube in Small, Medium and Large sizes priced at S$230, S$240 and S$260 respectively, and the Reversible Bucket Hat with Pouch in Denim at S$320.
The full Ink Blue collection and accompanying travel accessories are available at RIMOWA stores worldwide and through the brand’s online store from 9 July 2026.
