Hong Kong Rolls Out Summer of Festivals, Football and Exclusive Travel Deals for Singapore Visitors

Hong Kong is inviting Singaporeans to make the most of the summer season with a packed calendar of festivals, family attractions, world class football action and exclusive travel rewards through its Hong Kong Summer Fun campaign.

Running until 31 August 2026, the campaign combines some of the city’s biggest seasonal events with special offers on attractions, transport, shopping and dining, giving travellers even more reasons to plan a holiday to the Events Capital of Asia.

One of the headline events is the Sun Life Hong Kong International Dragon Boat Festival, which runs from 19 June to 1 July. Celebrating its 50th anniversary, the festival expands into a 13 day celebration for the first time, bringing together more than 220 dragon boat teams from around the world to compete on Victoria Harbour. Beyond the races, visitors can explore the Dragon Boat Food Lane, Beer Garden, cultural workshops, themed installations and waterfront activities along the Avenue of Stars.

Families heading to Hong Kong Disneyland Resort can look forward to Pixar Summer Fest from 12 June to 31 August. The resort’s first ever Pixar themed celebration features the new Pixar Pals Spectacular nighttime show, combining glowing drones, fountains, projections and giant inflatables before the popular Momentous nighttime spectacular. Guests can also enjoy the Pixar Water Play Street Party, the park’s biggest Friendtastic! parade, themed dining experiences, shopping and character encounters.

At Ocean Park Hong Kong, the Pandastic Summer Birthday Celebration runs from 26 June to 31 August, celebrating giant panda twins Jia Jia and De De alongside Ying Ying, Le Le, An An and Ke Ke. Visitors can enjoy themed installations, interactive experiences and photo opportunities featuring all six pandas in playful Panda Friends form.

Culture lovers can visit M+ from 27 June for Design Ah! Experience the Wonder of Everyday Design, an interactive exhibition that encourages visitors of all ages to discover the creativity behind everyday objects and activities through immersive installations, hands on games and audiovisual experiences.

Another new attraction making its Hong Kong debut is Bubble Planet Hong Kong, opening from 29 June at Kai Tak Cruise Terminal. The immersive experience combines digital art, virtual reality, optical illusions and multi-sensory installations in a colourful bubble themed adventure designed for families and visitors of all ages.

Football fans will also have plenty to look forward to during the Hong Kong Football Festival 2026 from 31 July to 5 August. Four European football powerhouses, Manchester City, FC Internazionale Milano, Chelsea FC and Juventus, will compete in two blockbuster matches at Kai Tak Stadium. The festival will also feature exclusive open training sessions by Manchester City and Chelsea, giving supporters the chance to get closer to their favourite clubs. Building on last year’s successful event, the festival further strengthens Hong Kong’s reputation as one of Asia’s leading destinations for international sporting events and live entertainment.

Alongside the attractions, the Hong Kong Tourism Board is introducing a wide range of Summer Deals to help visitors enjoy more while spending less.

In partnership with Trip.com Group, more than HK$20 million worth of offers are available across 19 attractions and three transport operators. Travellers who book participating Hong Kong hotel stays through Trip.com or Ctrip before 31 August for travel between 1 July and 14 September, with a minimum spend of HK$1,500 in a single transaction, will receive a Summer Getaway Pack that includes one attraction voucher and one transport voucher offering discounts of up to 50 percent.
