Disney Garden of Wonder Returns to Gardens by the Bay with 23 New Character Topiaries and Magical Floral Displays

Disney magic has returned to Gardens by the Bay with the opening of the second edition of Disney Garden of Wonder, bringing an all-new collection of character-inspired floral topiaries to Floral Fantasy. Running from 8 June 2026 to 14 March 2027, the enchanting showcase features 23 vibrant topiaries inspired by beloved Disney and Pixar characters, transforming the attraction into a colourful celebration of storytelling, creativity and horticultural artistry.

Organised in collaboration with Disney and supported by the Singapore Tourism Board, Disney Garden of Wonder invites visitors of all ages to rediscover timeless stories of courage, friendship, kindness and love through immersive floral displays. Following the success of its debut in 2024, the showcase returns with expanded experiences and new character appearances designed to delight both Disney fans and garden enthusiasts.

This year’s edition is divided into five themed areas, each inspired by iconic Disney and Pixar stories. In the Frozen zone, visitors will encounter topiary versions of Anna, Elsa and Olaf surrounded by a snowy landscape enhanced with themed lighting effects. Inspired by Elsa’s Ice Palace, the area also features an interactive floor where magical snowflakes respond to visitors’ movements.

The Disney Princess section brings together several beloved royal characters, including Rapunzel and her loyal companion Pascal, Belle alongside the Beast and their enchanted friends, and Jasmine with her trusted tiger Rajah. Each display is surrounded by lush floral arrangements designed to complement the stories and personalities of the characters.

Fans of Winnie the Pooh can step into the Hundred Acre Wood, where Pooh, Eeyore, Piglet and Tigger gather for a cheerful party scene. Animated features add an extra layer of fun, with Tigger bouncing and Piglet twirling as visitors imagine themselves joining the celebration.

Pixar’s upcoming Toy Story 5 also takes centre stage with a themed display inspired by Bonnie’s Room. Woody, Jessie and Buzz Lightyear appear as detailed topiaries alongside new characters Lilypad and Smarty Pants, offering visitors an early glimpse into the next chapter of the beloved franchise.

Adding a uniquely Singaporean touch is the Go Local zone, where classic Disney characters are reimagined in familiar local settings. Chip ‘n Dale sit atop a giant ice cream sandwich, Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck enjoy a bowl of laksa, while Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck prepare teh tarik in a playful tribute to local culture and cuisine.

Greeting visitors outside Floral Fantasy is a striking 4-metre-tall Sorcerer’s Apprentice Mickey topiary, which marks the entrance to the attraction and sets the stage for the magical experience within.

Creating the showcase was a major undertaking, with the hand-assembled topiaries crafted from more than 40 species of preserved and dried floral materials. The intricate process required over 16,000 man hours, with each material carefully selected for its colour, texture and form to accurately capture the appearance of the characters. For example, Rapunzel’s flowing hair is recreated using Stipa, a perennial grass known for its soft, fluffy flowerheads.

The surrounding landscapes have also been thoughtfully designed to reflect the atmosphere of each themed zone. Sunflowers and marigolds evoke the warm, honey-coloured meadows of Winnie the Pooh, while lilies and roses enhance the romantic settings of the Disney Princess displays. In the Frozen section, hydrangeas and dusty miller help create a cool palette of icy blues, silvers and whites.

Throughout the exhibition period, visitors can also enjoy select weekend meet and greet sessions featuring Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse dressed in outfits inspired by Singapore’s national flower, the Vanda Miss Joaquim. Donald Duck and Daisy Duck will join on selected weekends in tropical-themed outfits created especially for the local showcase.

Guests can complete their visit with a stop at the gift shop, which offers exclusive merchandise launched specially for Disney Garden of Wonder.

Disney Garden of Wonder takes place at Floral Fantasy in Gardens by the Bay from 8 June 2026 to 14 March 2027. The attraction is open daily from 10am to 9pm, with admission priced at $12 for adults and $8 for children.
