IKEA Singapore is bringing back its iconic IKEA PS collection with a fresh new edition for 2026, introducing a playful range of furniture and home accessories designed for flexible modern living spaces. Marking the tenth edition since the collection first debuted in 1995, the new IKEA PS 2026 collection focuses on “Playful functionality”, combining bold aesthetics with practical everyday use.
The collection officially launches in Singapore on 27 May exclusively at IKEA Alexandra and IKEA Tampines.
Shoppers who prefer online purchases can access the collection from 2 June via IKEA Singapore’s website. Purchases will be limited to one piece per person.
Designed to adapt to constantly changing living spaces and lifestyles, the IKEA PS 2026 collection explores how furniture can be both practical and expressive at the same time. The pieces feature playful shapes, transformable functions and versatile forms intended to fit seamlessly into compact homes and multifunctional spaces.
Among the highlights in the collection is the IKEA PS 2026 Stool (S), which adapts easily to different needs and spaces with a simple pull mechanism.
Our favourite is the IKEA PS 2026 Chair (S). The design embraces flexibility and comfort with a shape that encourages multiple seating positions for casual everyday use, including positions for endless doom scrolling on mobile and for massages.
Another eye catching additions is the IKEA PS 2026 Easy Chair (S9), an inflatable chair that you can pump up while listening to music, adding a fun interactive element to the furniture. Lightweight and easy to move around, it is a fun conversation piece to add to any home.
The IKEA PS 2026 Bench (S5) also introduces an unconventional approach to seating. Its playful design encourages movement and interaction with its side swing design.
Beyond seating, the collection includes several home accessories and storage pieces that continue the playful yet practical design theme. The IKEA PS 2026 Table Clock (S.90) features a striking red exterior and a form inspired by a periscope, adding character and energy to living spaces. The clock face can be detached to reveal a secret storage space.
The IKEA PS 2026 Side Table (S.90) is designed with flexibility in mind, opening and folding away with a simple click mechanism that makes it suitable for smaller homes or spaces that require adaptable furniture.
Storage also gets a playful upgrade with the IKEA PS 2026 Trolley (S.90), a mobile storage solution designed to keep everyday clutter organised while remaining easy to move around the house.
Lighting takes on a more dynamic form in the IKEA PS 2026 Floor Uplighter (S.90). Designed to bend at 45 degree angles, the lamp can transform between an uplighter, floor lamp and spotlight depending on the mood or setup of the space.
The IKEA PS collection has long been known for experimenting with new ideas in democratic design, and the 2026 edition continues that tradition with pieces that encourage creativity while remaining accessible and functional for everyday living.
