Travel Meet Asia 2026 Returns to Jakarta with Brunei as Official Partner Country, Expanding Regional Tourism and MICE Opportunities

Travel Meet Asia (TMA) 2026 will return to Jakarta on 23 and 24 June 2026, bringing together global leaders across the MICE, corporate and leisure travel sectors for two days of business networking, knowledge sharing and industry collaboration. The event will be held at Swissôtel Jakarta PIK Avenue, reinforcing Jakarta’s position as a key hub for regional tourism and travel exchange.

Organised by Messe Berlin Asia Pacific, the event continues to strengthen its role as a leading marketplace and knowledge platform for the travel industry. The 2026 edition is expected to welcome more than 1,500 participants, including over 400 qualified buyers, 100 plus exhibitors and more than 60 speakers from across global markets.

Brunei Darussalam has been named the Official Partner Country for Travel Meet Asia 2026, highlighting its growing ambitions to expand its international tourism presence. Under its Visit Brunei 2027 initiative, the country will showcase its natural landscapes, biodiversity and cultural heritage, positioning itself as a destination for travellers seeking authentic and nature-based experiences. Brunei, also known as the Abode of Peace, continues to promote itself as a serene destination offering untouched rainforests and rich traditions.

The 2026 edition also builds on its ongoing collaboration with ASITA, the Association of the Indonesian Tours and Travel Agencies, following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at strengthening Indonesia’s tourism and MICE sector. The partnership further reinforces Indonesia’s role as a strategic gateway for tourism and business exchange in the region.

Strong industry demand has driven a 20 per cent expansion in exhibition space compared to the previous year. Confirmed exhibitors include major hospitality brands, destination representatives and travel service providers such as Accor, Adaaran Maldives, Churchill Safaris, Finland Pavilion, New World Saigon and Tokyu Hotels.

The event will also connect exhibitors with a broad network of buyers from across Southeast Asia and international markets. Participating organisations include AZZA Travel & Tours Pte Ltd, Bandar Tour, CHACHA Tours & Travel, MAVP Travel & Tours, MG Bedbank, MYDUTA Tour, SMILE Holiday, WebBeds, WOLO Travel and Xiaomi. Buyers are expected from key markets including Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

Alongside the exhibition, the conference programme will spotlight key trends shaping Southeast Asia’s travel industry. Sessions will be organised around six main themes covering market insights and trends, travel and destination marketing, hospitality and alternative accommodations, MICE and corporate travel, travel technology, and transportation and mobility.

Industry experts and thought leaders confirmed for the programme include Christian Helmy Windarto, Director of Development Indonesia Malaysia at BWH Hotel Group, Edward Nelson Jusuf, Chief Executive Officer of Opsigo, Krishna Arya, General Manager Indonesia at Trip.com, Sunandar, Head of Engineering at TruTrip, and Yohan Tangkesalu, Chief Executive Officer of Genus Group.

Travel Meet Asia 2026 is now open for registration, with industry professionals encouraged to sign up early to enjoy complimentary trade visitor passes, available until 22 June 2026. The event offers a platform for participants to explore new partnerships, expand networks and tap into emerging business opportunities across the regional travel landscape.
