adidas Unveils New 3D-Printed CLIMACOOL LACED, Elevating Breathability and Everyday Performance

adidas has officially rolled out its latest innovation in footwear technology with the launch of the CLIMACOOL LACED, now available in a sleek all-white colourway featuring ghost stripes and matching white laces. Building on the momentum of its limited 2024 debut, the 3D-printed sneaker is back, this time for a wider audience seeking maximum comfort and airflow in everyday, off-court moments.

The new CLIMACOOL LACED demonstrates adidas’ continued push into advanced 3D manufacturing. Crafted using digital light synthesis (DLS) over a 24-hour print cycle, the shoe merges performance, comfort, and design from the ground up. The result is a seamless silhouette with no edges, no joins and no pressure points, offering wearers a smooth and barely-there feel.

Engineered with 360° airflow, the sneaker features strategically positioned ventilation zones and a sculpted lattice structure that enhances breathability where it matters most. The latest model is also 15% lighter than its 2025 predecessor, yet still delivers stable support and a consistent, size-specific cushioning system printed directly into each pair.

An all-new laced construction adds adaptability, allowing the shoe to comfortably accommodate a wider range of foot shapes. Designed for both men and women, CLIMACOOL LACED sets a new standard for 3D-printed footwear precision and comfort.

The launch sits within a broader adidas drop that includes muted, minimalist apparel inspired by Entire Studios, alongside a bold maroon statement hue. The collection spans ADIDAS Z.N.E. fits, Optimé and D4T apparel, as well as training onesies, shorts, jackets, bras and tanks. It also features updated Lightblaze POD and ACE footwear silhouettes, plus accessories like a sleek black leather handbag designed for seamless transitions from street to gym.

Fronting the campaign are American basketball stars Kahleah Copper and Jalen Williams, showcasing the footwear during their off-duty moments. The visuals spotlight the theme of breathability and the brand’s cutting-edge approach to 3D additive manufacturing.

Key features of the CLIMACOOL LACED include:

  • 360° airflow with airy materials and mesh ventilation
  • Second-skin feel with a soft, stable, foot-hugging design
  • Adjustable, durable fit supported by an upgraded outsole and lace system

With more colourways and silhouette updates expected throughout 2026, adidas aims to position the CLIMACOOL LACED as a year-round essential for style, comfort and performance.

The sneaker retails at $219, available in UK sizes 4–13 (unisex), and can be found at selected adidas locations including:

  • adidas Brand Centre Orchard
  • adidas VivoCity Performance (L1)
  • adidas Marina Bay Sands
  • adidas Jewel
