UNIQLO Singapore is bringing fashion and culture together in a bold new way with its first-ever museum pop-up, created in partnership with the Asian Civilisations Museum (ACM). The pop-up, a nearly two-month showcase located in the museum lobby, highlights UNIQLO’s mission to make art accessible to everyone through its LifeWear philosophy.
Opening ahead of ACM’s Crossing Cultures festival, the display will feature a curated selection of Graphic T-shirts from the global UT line and unveil the brand-new UNIQLO x ACM UTme! Collection. Visitors can explore the installation from early April as part of A Weekend of Curiosities, happening 10–12 April 2026, with a range of free arts programmes taking place across the museum.
Drawing from ACM’s rich collection, shaped by centuries of trade, exchange, and cultural connections across Asia, the new UTme! collection reinterprets historic objects through a modern, wearable lens.
Inspired by items in the galleries, such as an ornate candelabra, a dancing-woman pitcher, and a palampore textile, the designs transform museum artefacts into contemporary graphic art.
The collection features original works by Singapore-based artists Knuckles & Notch, Gabriel De Souza, SONG, HAFI, and Nikkei, each infusing their signature artistic flair, from whimsical illustrations to bold graphic styles.
Visitors will get an exclusive first look at ACM before heading to UTme! Stores, Orchard Central Global Flagship, ION Orchard, VivoCity, and Jewel Changi Airport, where they can customise their own pieces.
Beyond the collaboration, the pop-up will also showcase UT favourites including:
As part of Crossing Cultures, ACM will host A Weekend of Curiosities, inviting the public to explore art, heritage, and creativity through hands-on and interactive programmes. Activities include:
Through this unique collaboration, UNIQLO and ACM create an immersive space where visitors can appreciate Singapore’s vibrant arts scene, discover new interpretations of Asian heritage, and explore how art and fashion can connect communities.
