Tsuburaya Unveils “Attack of the Great Kaiju” Booster Pack for Ultraman Card Game Amid 60th Anniversary Celebrations

Fans of the Ultra Series have something new to look forward to as Tsuburaya Fields Entertainment International announces the launch of Booster Pack 07: Attack of the Great Kaiju for the Ultraman Card Game.

The latest expansion introduces a wave of iconic kaiju and new gameplay mechanics, offering players fresh strategic possibilities while celebrating six decades of the legendary Ultra Series. The release is part of the ongoing “Ultra Series 60th Anniversary Project,” a global initiative commemorating the franchise’s milestone anniversary.

Iconic Kaiju Take Centre Stage

The new booster pack spotlights some of the most memorable villains in Ultraman history. Classic kaiju such as Red King and Alien Mefilas from the original Ultraman series make their return, alongside King Joe from Ultraseven.

One of the biggest highlights is Zetton, the formidable Space Dinosaur, who debuts as a Level 7 Triple Rare (RRR) card. Designed to anchor powerful kaiju-focused decks, Zetton is expected to be a game-changer for competitive players.

New Ultra Warriors and Gameplay Mechanics

On the hero side, fans will see the debut of Ultraman Taiga from the Ultraman Taiga series. His introduction comes with a brand-new <TEAM> gameplay mechanic, which activates when multiple Ultra Warriors are included in the same deck, encouraging more dynamic and versatile strategies.

Also joining the lineup is Carmeara, the Elegant Warrior from Ultraman Trigger: New Generation Tiga, alongside Trigger Dark. Their arrival introduces additional mechanics that reflect their in-series relationships, further enhancing gameplay depth.

Exclusive Box Topper for Collectors

Collectors can also look forward to a special bonus card included in every booster box: Alien Guts. Known for its cloning abilities in Ultraseven, the character appears as a unique “Alien Guts, the Cloning Alien” card, making it a must-have for fans and collectors alike.

Celebrating 60 Years of Ultraman

The release of Attack of the Great Kaiju builds on the momentum of Ultraman’s 60th anniversary celebrations, highlighting how the franchise continues to evolve across modern platforms. From streaming adaptations to trading card games, Tsuburaya is expanding the Ultraman universe to engage new generations of fans while maintaining its nostalgic appeal.

Looking ahead, the company aims to balance innovation with legacy, leveraging new formats, community-driven events and global fan engagement to ensure Ultraman remains relevant in today’s fast-changing entertainment landscape.
