Fans of Pokémon have a new way to celebrate the beloved franchise’s milestone anniversary as UNIQLO’s graphic T-shirt line UT unveils a special collection commemorating Pokémon’s 30th anniversary in 2026. The nostalgic lineup will officially launch on March 16, 2026, featuring designs inspired by the iconic watercolor-style artwork from the original Pokémon games.
The collection pays tribute to the early days of Pokémon, using soft, hand-drawn watercolor illustrations reminiscent of the franchise’s first-generation artwork. These gentle and expressive designs aim to spark nostalgia among longtime fans while introducing younger audiences to Pokémon’s timeless charm.
The anniversary lineup includes five T-shirt designs for adults and five matching designs for kids, making it easy for families to coordinate their outfits. By blending nostalgic visuals with modern casual wear, the UT collection is designed to be enjoyed by Pokémon fans of all ages.
Adult T-shirts will retail for .90, available in sizes XS to 3XL, while kids’ T-shirts will be priced at .90, with sizes ranging from 100cm to 160cm. Select sizes, including 100, XS, XXL, and 3XL, will be available exclusively through the UNIQLO online store.
The collection will be sold at all UNIQLO stores in Singapore as well as via the brand’s official online store.
To mark the anniversary celebration, UNIQLO has also released a special interview with actress and devoted Pokémon fan Naomi Watanabe on the UNIQLO Today website. In the lively conversation, Watanabe reflects on her first encounter with Pokémon, her long-standing love for the franchise, and how it has influenced her life and career as an international entertainer.
The interview will also appear in UT Magazine 2026 Spring/Summer Issue 13, which will begin distribution at selected UNIQLO stores worldwide from late March 2026.
Aside from the Pokémon feature, the latest issue of UT Magazine will spotlight a range of cultural collaborations and artistic inspirations. These include themes such as MANGA UT SHUEISHA 100th, The Louvre, Ukiyo-e Blue & Ukiyo-e Animals, works by artist Jason Polan, and a feature on Musical Icons.
