Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue Makes Asia Debut at Mandai Wildlife Reserve This April

Singapore is set to welcome the first-ever Minecraft Experience in Asia as Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue arrives at Green Canvas within Mandai Wildlife Reserve from 24 April to 13 September 2026.

Following successful runs in Dallas, London and Toronto, the immersive attraction transforms the globally beloved video game Minecraft into a real-world, story-driven adventure. Designed for families, longtime fans and first-time players alike, the one-hour quest invites participants to journey through eight interactive Minecraft-themed rooms to rescue a village under siege by zombies.

Step Into the World of Minecraft

Blending large-scale immersive projections, theatrical sets, motion-tracking gameplay and experiential storytelling, the experience allows visitors to step directly into the Minecraft universe. Players will explore familiar biomes such as the Minecraft Forest, gather resources and encounter iconic mobs along the way.

Each participant will be equipped with a unique “Orb of Interaction,” an interactive device that enables them to influence the environment and shape the outcome of their mission. The adventure culminates in a celebratory stop at the Minecraft Experience: Trading Post, where players can purchase exclusive merchandise and take home a special keepsake. Participants will also unlock a coveted in-game cape as a digital reward for completing the quest.

A New Indoor Adventure at Mandai

The addition of Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue introduces a dynamic indoor attraction to Mandai Wildlife Reserve, giving visitors the opportunity to pair wildlife exploration with immersive, tech-driven play in a single visit.

The experience was created by Montreal-based multimedia creative studio Supply + Demand in collaboration with Microsoft, Experience MOD and game developer Mojang Studios. It builds on the immense popularity of Minecraft, which remains the world’s best-selling video game with more than 300 million copies sold globally.

Ticketing Details

Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue runs from 24 April to 13 September 2026 at Green Canvas within Mandai Wildlife Reserve.

The presales waitlist is now open, with exclusive early access for sign-ups beginning 10 March 2026. General ticket sales start on 11 March 2026. Admission is via allocated timeslots at 15-minute intervals, available from 11am to 7pm on weekdays and 10am to 8pm on weekends, public holidays and school holidays.

• Weekends: $51 (adults), $44 (children)
