Pokémon Pokopia Hits Singapore with LED Pop-Up Truck for Nintendo Switch 2 Launch

Pokémon fans in Singapore are in for an immersive treat as The Pokémon Company announces a roving LED pop-up experience in celebration of Pokémon Pokopia on Nintendo Switch 2. Running from 5 March to 4 June 2026, the “Play Pokémon Pokopia Game with Pokémon Truck at Your Town!” campaign will bring a fully interactive gaming truck to malls across the island.

Developed for the Nintendo Switch 2, Pokémon Pokopia is a life-simulation title that lets players shape their surroundings and build a cosy new life alongside their favourite Pokémon. The travelling activation aims to bring that world to life, quite literally, through a specially outfitted 24-foot LED Pokémon Truck.

A Mobile Pokémon Gaming Hub

The vibrant truck has been transformed into a dedicated Nintendo Switch 2 gaming space, featuring five interactive game stations. Each station is equipped with a Nintendo Switch 2 console, Pokémon Pokopia-themed panels and comfortable sofa seating, allowing visitors to try the game in a relaxed setting. On-site crew will be present to guide newcomers through gameplay, ensuring even first-time players can jump straight into the adventure.

Beyond the Game: Photo Zones and Pikachu Appearances

The excitement continues outside the truck with a lively event zone designed for fans of all ages. Visitors can look forward to special appearances by Pikachu during selected weekend sessions, alongside a family-friendly colouring corner where children can create their own Pokémon artwork.

Fans can also snap photos at themed Pokémon Pokopia photo spots and a dedicated photo booth, turning each stop into a fully shareable Pokémon experience. As a keepsake, Pokémon Pokopia sun visors featuring in-game Pokémon will be distributed while stocks last.

Where to Catch the Pokémon Truck

The Pokémon Truck will travel across Singapore’s North, Central, East and West regions from 5 March to 4 June 2026.

  • Tuesday to Thursday: The truck will circulate around city areas.
  • Friday to Sunday: The truck will anchor at selected malls, offering the full gaming setup along with the event stage and themed activity zones.

In addition, extra demo stations will be available at Kallang Wave Mall and *SCAPE Singapore from 5 to 8 March 2026. Visitors there can explore special in-game islands featuring houses and decorations designed by local KOLs. Those who tour these featured homes will receive an exclusive event postcard, while stocks last.

Dates and venue may be subject to change.

Early Purchase Bonus

Fans who purchase a physical copy of Pokémon Pokopia early will receive a special Ditto Smartphone Cleaner Keychain. Featuring acrylic charms of Pikachu and Ditto, the collectible doubles as a screen cleaner and a stylish accessory for bags or wallets.

The early purchase premium is available while supplies last and applies only to physical copies (excluding digital downloads). A Nintendo Switch 2 console is required to play Pokémon Pokopia.
