ilLido Group Opens Les Canons, a Parisian-Style Bistro in Singapore’s CBD

The ilLido Group, founded by renowned restaurateur Beppe de Vito, has unveiled its newest concept, Les Canons, at the IOI Building in Singapore’s Central Business District.

Known for concepts such as Baia, Sospiri, and Southbridge, the group now turns its focus to classic French comfort fare served in a warm, approachable setting inspired by the neighbourhood bistros of Paris. Designed around the natural rhythms of CBD life, Les Canons welcomes guests from morning breakfast meetings to after-work apéros and relaxed evening dinners.

Everyday French Dining Under $20

Positioned as an all-day dining spot, Les Canons keeps its entire food menu priced under $20, making it a practical choice for daily city dining.

Breakfast is served daily, featuring café staples such as Croissant ($3.60) and Pain au Chocolat ($3.80), alongside heartier plates like Scrambled Eggs ($8), French Toast ($6), Croque Monsieur ($8), and Avocado Toast ($10).

The all-day à la carte menu celebrates French bistro classics. Starters include Soupe à l’Oignon ($10), Bisque de Crustacés ($12), Escargots ($12) with garlic butter, Steak Tartare ($12), Artichauts en Persillade ($12), and Foie Gras ($16).

For lighter bites or sharing over drinks, diners can choose from Chicken Liver Pâté ($8), Smoked Salmon Rillette ($8), Calamari ($10), Marinated Olives ($6), and Baguette with butter ($4).

Salad options include the Parisienne () with ham, cheese and mushrooms; Chèvre (), a warm goat cheese salad with smoked bacon; and Endives () with Roquefort, apple and walnuts.

Mains continue the comfort-led approach with Steak au Poivre (), Confit de Canard (), Bœuf Bourguignon (), and Coq au Vin (). Seafood selections feature Flétan à la Grenobloise () and Crevettes Nantua (), while Truffle Macaroni au Gratin () offers a decadent vegetarian option.

Sides such as Pommes Frites (), Haricots Verts (), Pomme Purée (), and Petite Salade () complement the hearty mains. Desserts round off the experience with Crème Brûlée (), Mousse au Chocolat (), Mont Blanc (), and Tarte Fine aux Pommes ().

French Wines and All-Day Apéro

Wine takes centre stage at Les Canons, with a list of over 50 French labels available by the glass and bottle. Glasses start from , and all bottles are priced under 0, encouraging guests to enjoy anything from a quick glass to a leisurely bottle with colleagues or friends. The selection spans key wine regions including Bordeaux, Bourgogne, Champagne, Loire, and Rhône.

A concise cocktail list complements the wine offering, featuring Aperol Spritz (), Hugo Spritz (), Negroni (), Gin & Tonic (), Highball (), and Skinny B ().

An all-day happy hour with selected drinks from further reinforces Les Canons’ role as an easy, accessible stop for post-work drinks or a casual apéro in the heart of the CBD.
