Amazon Fresh Unveils Limited-Edition Lo Hei Cookie to Celebrate the Year of the Horse

As Singapore ushers in the Year of the Horse, Amazon Fresh is adding a spirited twist to Chinese New Year celebrations with an unexpected festive treat: the limited-edition Lo Hei Cookie.

A playful reinvention of one of the season’s most beloved traditions, the Lo Hei Cookie is the result of a collaboration between Amazon Fresh, quirky local bakery Dapiku Sweets, and trusted baking supplier Phoon Huat. Inspired by the energy, adventure, and forward momentum symbolised by the Horse, this exclusive creation captures the bold and dynamic spirit of the new year in every bite.

A Festive Favourite, Reimagined

Lo Hei, the colourful raw fish salad tossed for prosperity, is one of the most joyful rituals of Chinese New Year in Singapore. Families, friends, and colleagues gather to toss the ingredients high while exchanging well wishes for abundance and success.

This year, that celebratory experience has been transformed into cookie form.

The Lo Hei Cookie combines the iconic flavours of the traditional dish into a single harmonious bite. Built on a crumbly cookie base, it layers in the sweet tanginess of plum sauce, the aromatic warmth of five-spice, and the unmistakable crunch of pok chui crackers and peanuts. The result is a snack that is savoury yet sweet, bold yet comfortingly familiar.

Made entirely with halal-certified ingredients, the cookie is designed to be shared across Singapore’s diverse communities whether at reunion dinners, office gatherings, or house visits. It’s festive, conversation-starting, and unmistakably local.

Where Tradition Meets Imagination

The creative force behind the Lo Hei Cookie is Dapiku Sweets, a home-grown bakery known for its inventive spin on nostalgic Asian flavours. With a cult following for creations such as white chocolate serundeng shortbread and pandan cheesecake, the brand has built its reputation on transforming familiar tastes into unexpected baked delights.

For this collaboration, Dapiku Sweets approached the Lo Hei Cookie with the same philosophy: honour tradition while making it accessible, shareable, and fun.

The limited-edition Lo Hei Cookie jar is available exclusively on Amazon Fresh for S$28.88 from now until 16 February, while stocks last.
