Singapore’s First Official Gundam Flagship Store Opens at Jewel Changi Airport on February 3

Gundam fans in Singapore have a major new destination to look forward to. Bandai Namco Asia has announced the official opening of THE GUNDAM BASE SINGAPORE at Jewel Changi Airport on February 3, 2026, marking the first-ever official Gundam Base in the country.

THE GUNDAM BASE is Bandai Namco’s global flagship retail concept dedicated to Gundam model kits, offering fans access to authentic Gunpla products and an immersive brand experience that goes beyond conventional retail. With its launch in Singapore, local and regional fans will finally have an official hub to celebrate Gundam culture.

An Immersive Gundam Experience

Designed as a space for both discovery and creativity, THE GUNDAM BASE SINGAPORE invites visitors into the world of Gundam through themed model exhibits, interactive build experiences and an extensive range of merchandise. A striking 1.8-metre RX-78 [Gundam Base Color] Gundam statue greets fans at the entrance, while a dedicated Photo Booth featuring a large blueprint of the iconic RX-78-2 Gundam offers a fun photo opportunity for visitors.

The store also features a dedicated workshop area created especially for newcomers interested in trying their hand at Gunpla building for the first time. Held on weekends, the model-building workshops will be free to the public, with families encouraged to participate together as a bonding activity. This initiative reflects Bandai Namco’s commitment to nurturing creativity and introducing the joy of Gunpla to a wider audience.

Located on Level 4 of Jewel Changi Airport, THE GUNDAM BASE SINGAPORE is set to serve not only local fans but also Gundam enthusiasts across the region. The flagship aims to strengthen Bandai Namco’s connection with Singapore’s fan communities while supporting the continued growth of Gundam culture in Southeast Asia.

Notably, it will be the only location in Singapore to carry Gunpla limited edition items, making it a must-visit destination for collectors. At launch, the store will stock a comprehensive range of Gunpla across all major grades, including Entry Grade, SD, High Grade (HG), Real Grade (RG), Master Grade (MG) and Perfect Grade (PG), catering to both beginners and seasoned builders.
