AXS, one of Singapore’s most established payments platforms, has unveiled AXS Rewards, a new programme designed to reward users for something they already do every month, paying their bills.
Available on the AXS mobile app, the new rewards programme allows customers to earn and redeem rewards every time they complete a bill payment, reinforcing AXS’ ongoing focus on enhancing user experience through practical, user-driven improvements. By turning routine transactions into rewarding moments, AXS Rewards reflects a broader shift in digital finance toward recognising and valuing everyday payment habits.
Rewarding Everyday Payments
As Singapore’s largest bill aggregator, AXS supports payments to more than 800 billing organisations, spanning government agencies, utilities, financial services, and telecommunications providers. An internal survey conducted among AXS and non-AXS users found that over 53 per cent of respondents identified utilities and telecommunications bills as their most frequent payments, highlighting the everyday nature of these transactions.
With more customers moving toward digital payments, AXS noted increasing demand for greater value and engagement within the app, without compromising the simplicity and reliability expected from a core payments service. Survey findings revealed that 53 per cent of users prefer cashback rewards, while 41 per cent favour loyalty points. Many respondents also shared that they currently juggle multiple payment platforms each month, primarily to maximise rewards and incentives.
AXS believes its new rewards programme positions the platform as a single, convenient hub for bill payments, while still delivering meaningful benefits across different spending habits.
How AXS Rewards Works
Under the programme, users earn AXS Coins whenever they complete bill payments on the AXS app. The rewards apply to all bills and billing organisations available on the platform. Accumulated coins can be redeemed for AXS vouchers, which can be used directly to offset future bill payments.
To mark the launch, AXS is offering a limited-time promotion where users can redeem a guaranteed-win Mystery Box after completing a single bill payment. Participants stand a chance to win bill vouchers worth up to $88.
More Rewards to Come
Looking ahead, AXS plans to expand its rewards catalogue by Q2 2026, introducing a wider range of deals and redemption options. These will include vouchers for food and beverages, travel, routine services, as well as special lifestyle experiences, aimed at encouraging sustained engagement with the app.
