CapitaLand is welcoming the Lunar New Year with an extra dose of cuteness as the beloved Mofusand cats return to usher in a season of springtime joy and prosperity. Following a year-end filled with fluffy cheer, Mofusand Paws-perity at CapitaLand Malls runs from now until 1 March 2026, transforming 17 CapitaLand malls and selected workspace properties into whimsical festive destinations packed with immersive décor, interactive experiences and rewarding treats for all ages.
This Chinese New Year, CapitaLand refreshes its popular Mofusand installations with a vibrant spring makeover inspired by traditional symbols of luck and abundance. Fan-favourite themes such as Fruit Meow, Board Shark, and Coffee & Donuts are adorned with blooming peonies and delicate cherry blossoms to symbolise prosperity and new beginnings. Bright mandarin oranges, illuminated lantern sculptures and playful oversized cat-themed red packets complete the festive look, creating warm and cheerful spaces for visitors to soak in the holiday atmosphere.
Returning by popular demand, CapitaLand’s Mofusand-themed AR filters have been refreshed for 2026 with three new Chinese New Year–inspired designs. Visitors can twin with the adorable cats in festive looks, from a mandarin orange headpiece and cherry blossom accessory to a lively lion dance costume.
Adding to the fun, shoppers can take part in a social media contest by snapping their favourite festive moments at CapitaLand malls and tagging @CapitaLandMallsSG. Participants stand a chance to win an auspicious 88,888 STAR$, with extra winning opportunities when AR filters are used.
Beyond the décor, Mofusand fans can explore limited-time pop-up stores across selected CapitaLand malls. These pop-ups feature themed photobooths, claw machines and a curated selection of exclusive lifestyle merchandise.
New this season are Mofusand T-shirts and tote bags, along with a special Purchase-with-Purchase (PwP) promotion featuring irresistibly cute Mofusand Chinese New Year Collectible Plushies. Available in two designs, one dressed in a lucky orange tang suit and the other in a graceful blue cheongsam, the plushies can be redeemed via the CapitaStar app. Shoppers who spend a minimum of $30 using eCapitaVoucher at participating malls from now until 22 February will receive a PwP eligibility eVoucher, which can be used to purchase the collectible plushies at participating pop-up stores, while stocks last.
Pop-up store locations include:
Reimagining traditional gifting, CapitaLand introduces Mofusand-themed digital red packets via the CapitaStar app, allowing users to send eCapitaVouchers ranging from $10 to $500 to loved ones. Offering a convenient and eco-friendly alternative to physical red packets, these digital gifts combine festive cheer with sustainability. From February onwards, shoppers can also look out for bonus eCapitaVoucher gifting rewards within the app.
To spread even more cheer online, CapitaLand’s Mofusand Paws-perity sticker pack is available across Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and Telegram, adding playful flair to chats and social posts.
