This January, homegrown snacks brand Tai Sun is looking to help families usher in the Year of the Horse with a collection that features both traditional and modern elements. Established just a year after Singapore’s independence in 1966, Tai Sun has spent over five decades perfecting the art of the snack, and their latest festive array promises to keep generous hosts and hungry guests happy throughout the season.
A key highlight this year will be the return of festive favourites from their Ah Ma and NOYA ranges. These items are seasonal exclusives, meaning they are only available once a year for a limited time.
Shoppers can look forward to Ah Ma Traditional Nonya Love Letters, which are crafted the old school way to achieve that delicate, coconut-infused crispness.
For those who prefer savoury over sweet, the NOYA Prawn Rolls and NANA’S Treats Nonya Prawn Rolls offer the quintessential spicy dried shrimp crunch that is impossible to stop eating once you start.
The lineup is rounded out by the buttery NOYA Pineapple Tarts and their traditional Love Letters, ensuring that the tea table is well-stocked with nostalgic flavours.
Beyond the traditional jars, Tai Sun is elevating the snacking experience through interesting collaborations this year.
They have partnered with Ten Butter Fingers to create a Cranberry Cornflake Cookie. These handcrafted treats fuse crunchy cornflakes with juicy cranberries from Tai Sun’s own Nature’s Wonders line, resulting in a buttery and textural bite.
To balance out the indulgence, the brand suggests pairing these snacks with aromatic blends from Tily Tea. The Tily Tea CNY Petite Pack Plus features wellness-focused TCM herbal tea blends, making it a thoughtful gift option for health-conscious relatives or a palate cleanser between bouts of snacking.
For standard snacking needs, the brand continues to offer its premium range of nuts and chips.
Healthier options include the Tai Sun Natural Vegetable Chips, which feature real slices of sweet potato, pumpkin, and carrot, as well as the Nature’s Wonders Macadamia with Cashews blend.
Potato chip lovers should take note that Tai Sun Potato Chips, available in bold flavours like Truffle, Wasabi, and Salted Egg, will be exclusively available at their upcoming warehouse sale.
Speaking of stocking up, the annual Tai Sun Hari Raya Warehouse Sale is set to return to 255 Pandan Loop. This is a prime opportunity for bargain hunters to grab fresh stocks for both Chinese New Year and the upcoming Hari Raya festivities.
The sale runs across two periods: from 9 to 13 February, and then again from 20 February to 20 March 2026. The warehouse will be open on weekdays from 9:30am to 5:00pm, and on weekends from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
