RISIS and Daughters Of Tomorrow Celebrate Christmas Through Heartfelt Gift Exchange

This festive season, RISIS spread joy and gratitude with a meaningful Christmas celebration in collaboration with Daughters Of Tomorrow (DOT), a non-profit supporting single mothers on their journey toward employment and a brighter future. Hosted at RISIS Atelier, the intimate event welcomed mothers and their daughters for a day of heartfelt connections, creativity, and festive cheer.

At the heart of the celebration was a touching gift exchange designed to honor the strength of mothers and the bonds they share with their children. Young participants personally selected RISIS jewellery pieces for their mothers, each piece thoughtfully crafted to symbolize resilience and love. Children also penned messages of appreciation on “Wishes for Mommy” cards, adding a personal touch to the celebration.

The surprise didn’t end there. Mothers reciprocated the gesture by gifting their daughters custom-designed Barbie collectibles, sponsored by RISIS. Each Barbie was uniquely adorned in a sustainable dress made from RISIS festive wrapping papers, transforming everyday materials into wearable art. The designs were created by Jian Yang, renowned Barbie collector and creative force behind #flushablefashion and Toyspedia (Mattel Singapore), making every doll truly one-of-a-kind.

The celebration extended beyond the gift exchange with an exclusive mini tour of the “Wings of Christmas” Barbie Doll Exhibition at Wisma Atria Atrium, featuring over 70 dolls dressed in sustainable fashion by Singaporean artists. Selected pieces are also part of a silent auction running until 26 December 2025, further combining artistry with philanthropy.

In addition to the specially wrapped Barbie dolls, each girl received a brand-new Barbie Collectible doll from Toyspedia, giving them the joy of saving a special unwrapping moment for home.
