Scoot has launched the second edition of its Scoot With Heart campaign this December, reaffirming its commitment to celebrating meaningful human connections that go beyond the act of travel. Building on the emotional resonance of its inaugural edition, this year’s campaign invites audiences to pause and reflect on the relationships and moments that have shaped them, and the quiet “what ifs” they may have left behind.

Centred on the theme “What if?”, the campaign explores the connections we often take for granted or allow to fade over time. From childhood friends who once felt like family to loved ones we meant to call but never did, Scoot hopes to encourage the community to reframe these lingering thoughts as opportunities for growth, healing and reconnection.
To bring the campaign to life, Scoot partnered The Smart Local (TSL) to create a suite of social media stories spotlighting everyday people. At the heart of the campaign are two moving reunion films featuring Scoot employees, whose personal journeys embody the spirit of reconnection. These stories are available across Scoot’s and TSL’s Instagram and TikTok platforms.

The first film features Scoot pilot Ms Vanessa Khaw, who steps away from the cockpit to reflect on family and motherhood. As she listens to an interview with her loved ones, Vanessa is visibly moved by heartfelt messages from her husband and daughters. The emotional moment culminates in a joyful reunion, as the family reflects on turning their own “what if” into reality. Scoot then takes the gesture one step further by arranging for her family to join her onboard a flight she pilots to Nanjing, making their shared dream come true.

The second story follows Ms Asmidar Hamedon, a Section Manager in Scoot’s Ground Operations team, as she revisits her childhood memories in the kampongs of Pulau Ubin. Recounting her early years spent with her cousin Ismali, she is surprised when he steps forward from another location to reunite with her. The pair spend the day reconnecting and reliving their shared past on the island, serving as a poignant reminder that it is never too late to rediscover bonds that once meant everything.
Beyond the reunion films, Scoot With Heart also extends into a digital photo series featuring 20 everyday individuals in Singapore, each sharing their personal “what if” on handwritten message boards. The stories range from a sister wishing for one last conversation with her late brother, to a young woman longing to visit her childhood helper in the Philippines, heartfelt reflections that underscore a universal desire to reconnect with the people and memories that have shaped our lives.
