The Kallang is set to transform into Singapore’s ultimate New Year’s Eve destination on 31 December, as the precinct rolls out a full night of electrifying entertainment for Countdown 2026 at The Kallang. Visitors can expect free community festivities, a 35-minute multi-chapter fireworks spectacle, and the highly anticipated Countdown 2026 Concert, headlined by K-pop legends Super Junior.
Adding to the excitement is the launch of The Kallang Pass: a new signature highlight of the annual countdown festivities. Introduced this year, the pass gives one lucky winner year-long access to 2026’s biggest sports and entertainment events at both the National Stadium and Singapore Indoor Stadium.
From 15 to 31 December, Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents aged 18 and above can pick up a unique contest card from selected information counters across The Kallang. To qualify, participants must attend the countdown event and drop their entry stub into designated collection boxes on 31 December.
The winner, drawn live that night, must be present and contactable to claim the coveted prize.
Starting at 7.00pm, admission to Countdown 2026 at The Kallang is free for all. Families can enjoy puppet shows, a children’s mass dance party, and bubble fun at the Shimmer and Shine Zone at OCBC Square. Rising local singer-songwriter WhyLucas will also take the stage with his signature soulful hits.
Across the precinct, visitors can explore glitter tattoo booths, face painting, hair beading pop-ups, and roving countdown processions. The main concert at Stadium Roar will be broadcast live at satellite screening areas at OCBC Square and the Water Sports Centre, ensuring everyone gets front-row energy.
This year’s fireworks extravaganza spans 35 minutes across four stunning chapters:
Prime viewing spots include the Stadium Riverside Walk, Water Sports Centre, Lawn Bowls near Singapore Indoor Stadium, and various points around the Kallang Basin. Visitors are encouraged to arrive early for the best views.
For those craving a more intimate celebration, The Kallang Beach Club offers tickets at $100 for four, along with optional festive picnic boxes at $50 for two.
Taking place from 8:30pm, the sold-out Countdown 2026 Concert features an exciting roster:
Fans who didn’t secure tickets can tune in via The Kallang’s social media channels or iQiyi’s TikTok (Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia). Satellite screenings across the precinct will also broadcast the full concert.
The event is rain or shine, with mobile tickets issued two weeks before the concert. Ticketmaster is the exclusive ticketing partner, resale tickets will not be accepted.
Organised by The Kallang Group, Countdown 2026 at The Kallang forms part of the nationwide ONE Countdown 2026 celebrations.
