The Affordable Art Fair Singapore has wrapped up its milestone 18th edition with its strongest performance yet, marking an exciting start to 2025 for the city’s arts scene. Over four vibrant days, the Fair welcomed a diverse, engaged community of art lovers, collectors, and creatives, culminating in a historic S$5.7 million in art sales, the highest figure in its Singapore history.

A Landmark Edition Since 2019
Held at the F1 Pit Building, this year’s Fair was its largest since 2019, bringing together:
- 95 galleries from 20 countries including 22 first-time exhibitors
- 884 artists, with 108 Singapore-based talents and 355 new names making their Fair debut
Across the week, 2,100 artworks found new homes, reflecting both strong collector confidence and the growing appeal of accessible art.
A Welcoming Crowd with Rising Buying Intent
The Fair drew 15,000 visitors, who enjoyed hands-on workshops, artist takeovers, curated showcases, and special installations. While the visitor count was lower than last year’s, engagement was stronger than ever.
Key survey insights include:
- 37.5% of attendees were first-time visitors (vs 46% in 2024)
- 21% of first-timers purchased art, matching last year’s conversion rate
- 94.5% of all visitors intend to return in 2026
These findings point to a more intentional, tightly engaged audience, one that came ready to explore, connect, and collect.
Stronger Collector Confidence
This year’s results highlight a notable rise in buyer confidence:
- The average artwork price increased from S$2,650 (2024) to S$2,714 (2025)
- Despite a smaller crowd, visitors purchased more artworks (2,100 vs 2,000 in 2024)
- Higher sales were driven by deeper conversations and stronger connections between collectors, artists, and galleries
The Fair’s curated programming and renewed focus on meaningful engagement helped shape this record-breaking edition.
