The Singapore Urban Sports + Fitness Festival (SGUSFF) 2025 has closed its second edition on an all-time high, drawing a record-breaking crowd of more than 90,000 attendees from 14 to 30 November. Spanning three action-packed weekends across five venues, this year’s festival cemented its status as Singapore’s biggest celebration of urban sports and fitness.
The turnout marks a 30% surge from last year’s already impressive 70,000 visitors, underscoring the fast-growing enthusiasm for urban sports among youths, families, and fitness communities. With an expanded lineup featuring over 20 partners and 10 new events, SGUSFF 2025 brought world-class showcases and fresh sports formats to Singapore audiences.
The festival culminated in a spectacular final weekend that drew more than 45,000 participants across four halls and two atriums at Singapore Expo. The packed programme was headlined by AIA HYROX Singapore, which featured international competitors, including Netflix Physical: 100 and Physical: Asia star Kim Jae-hong (Amotti).
Other major highlights included the international debut of the World Rowing Super60 Singapore, launched in celebration of Singapore’s 60th anniversary; the nation’s first unified calisthenics national championships at Defy Gravity; and The First Swing ninja obstacle challenge, linked to the Olympic Modern Pentathlon pathway.
Complementing the competitive atmosphere were additional crowd-pullers such as the Singapore Armwrestling Open, Extinct Games Singapore International Strongman Competition, and the Singapore Aerial & Pole Fiesta. The festival wrapped with a standout closing experience: “A beans & beats Party: At the Ring”, Singapore’s first alcohol-free “coffee-clubbing” rave that paired specialty brews with underground music.
This year’s edition significantly strengthened its youth offerings, rolling out enhanced age-specific competitions and development pathways. Programmes such as the Junior Pink Warriors 3×3 Camp (ages 8–14), ClimbFest’s VENGAFEST U19 Youth Competition, and The First Swing: Ninja & Obstacle Challenge featuring U19 categories gave young participants the chance to hone fundamental skills across emerging sports.
Youth engagement soared to over 65% of total participation, spotlighting the rising passion among Singapore’s young generation for dynamic, community-driven physical activities.
The overwhelming success of SGUSFF 2025 reflects Singapore’s strong appetite for diverse sporting experiences, from competitive urban formats and street culture to inclusive community fitness initiatives. The festival’s growth reinforces Sport Singapore’s commitment to expanding sporting opportunities, inspiring active living, and nurturing future generations of athletes.
