EQUAL Brings Back “Christmas at the Stables” for a Heartwarming Weekend with Therapy Horses

EQUAL, Singapore’s leading animal-assisted therapy charity, is bringing festive cheer back to the community with the return of Christmas at the Stables on 6 & 7 December 2025. This beloved annual event invites families, supporters, and horse lovers to step into a world of joy, compassion, and connection, all while supporting a meaningful cause.

Held at EQUAL’s stables at 100 Jalan Mashhor, the event offers visitors the rare chance to meet the charity’s herd of therapy horses, which includes retired racehorses and adorable miniature horses. As an Institution of Public Character (IPC) and Singapore’s only Eagala-certified provider of equine-assisted learning and therapy, EQUAL works with rescued horses to uplift the emotional and social well-being of children, youth, seniors, families, and individuals across the island. All proceeds from the event will go towards supporting these impactful programmes and the care of the horses.

A Year of Healing Through Horses

2025 has been a milestone year for EQUAL. The charity expanded its outreach with initiatives such as the Temasek Foundation–EQUAL Haydays with Horses Programme, bringing equine-assisted therapy to seniors at active ageing centres and nursing homes.

Other highlights include the inaugural Open Stables Day, the children’s Horse-lidays programme during the school holidays, and EQUAL’s participation in key community events like the IHH x Singapore Sea Regatta and the Istana Open House, where its miniature therapy horses brought calm and connection to visitors of all ages.

These efforts reflect EQUAL’s unwavering mission to improve mental and emotional well-being through the healing bond between humans and horses.
