The iconic Singapore Sports Hub has officially entered a new chapter. Kallang Alive Sport Management has rebranded as The Kallang Group, and the Singapore Sports Hub will now operate under its new name: The Kallang.
Unveiled at the BOS Lounge in the National Stadium by Chairman Keith Magnus and CEO Quek Swee Kuan, the refreshed identity signals a bold vision, transforming the precinct into a more vibrant, inclusive, and multi-dimensional destination for sport, entertainment, lifestyle, and community experiences.
More than a new name, The Kallang reflects a powerful national sentiment. For generations, “Kallang” has been synonymous with unforgettable moments, roaring stadium crowds, national victories, cultural celebrations, and the cherished Kallang Wave.
The rebranding honours this rich sporting legacy while expanding the precinct’s purpose. The Kallang Group will continue steering top-tier programming, operations, and partnerships to shape the next evolution of this beloved space.
Since the government took over operations in 2022, The Kallang has rapidly grown into Singapore’s excitement epicentre.
Event days have surged, attendance has risen, and 2025 alone has welcomed landmark events such as the World Aquatics Championships, the World Para Swimming Championships, and a sold-out concert by global superstar Lady Gaga, her only Asia stop this year.
Beyond major spectacles, The Kallang has strengthened its community roots by hosting events like the National School Games, Majulah Fiesta, GetActive!, and ONE Countdown, reinforcing its mission to be a place for everyone.
The Kallang’s new tagline, “Feel Alive,” captures the precinct’s spirit of energy, connection, and creativity. It is anchored in four brand values:
To kick off this new era, The Kallang Group announced its first signature event under the new name, Countdown 2026 at The Kallang.
This year’s celebration will feature:
One lucky eventgoer will also win The Kallang Pass, granting a pair of tickets to multiple major 2026 events at the National Stadium and Singapore Indoor Stadium. All Singapore residents aged 18 and above who attend the countdown event will be eligible.
A major series of enhancements is on the way to elevate The Kallang’s offerings even further. Visitors can look forward to:
Enhancement works begin in phases from Q2 2026, with a fully revitalised mall targeted for completion in 2028. The mall will remain open throughout.
