edition Celebrates a Major Milestone with First Southeast Asia Flagship at Raffles City Singapore

Global contemporary fashion label edition has officially opened its first standalone boutique in Southeast Asia, marking a significant moment in the brand’s international expansion. The flagship, located at Raffles City Singapore (#01-34), was unveiled during an intimate launch event attended by media, content creators, celebrities, stylists, and industry partners.

Founded in 2010, edition has rapidly grown to more than 255 stores worldwide. Its Singapore debut comes as the brand celebrates its 15th anniversary and builds on the strong reception of its shop-in-shop concept at Takashimaya Department Store, introduced in 2023. The new boutique underscores Singapore’s role as a strategic hub for regional growth.

Spanning 1,216 square feet, the boutique embodies edition’s Bauhaus-influenced, design-led aesthetic, enriched with natural materials, wabi-sabi porcelain, and refined Eastern craftsmanship to create a serene, gallery-like atmosphere.

To commemorate the flagship opening, edition showcased its Winter 2025 collection, “Bound to Earth,” a tribute to women’s creativity as a grounding force. Guests explored curated highlights including:

  • Luxurious natural fibres such as Hanshan cashmere, Tibetan yak down, and Peruvian alpaca wool
  • Statement outerwear, from cocoon coats and cotton trench coats to reversible bombers and lightweight down jackets
  • Artisanal knitwear featuring checks, Fair Isle motifs, mottled textures, and hand-beaded details
  • Tailoring inspired by the iconic silhouettes of the 1980s and 1990s, reimagined for today’s modern gentlewoman

Fashion editors and stylists praised the collection’s refined craftsmanship, versatility, and travel-ready appeal. Guests admired the buttery-soft wool and cashmere blends, the practicality of all-weather outerwear, and the meticulous detailing, from delicate thread work to the graceful drape of tailored pieces.

The event concluded with enthusiastic acclaim for the brand’s thoughtful design philosophy and dedication to quality, cementing edition’s flagship as a new destination for elevated contemporary fashion in Singapore.

The Winter 2025 collection is now available at the new Raffles City boutique and at edition’s shop-in-shop in Takashimaya. Prices include:
