[Review] Swensen’s Christmas 2025 Takeaway Menu: Festive Feasts Made Easy for Home Celebrations

The air is already thick with holiday cheer, and Singapore’s favourite Halal certified, full-service ice cream restaurant, Swensen’s, has rolled out a new Christmas menu that promises to satisfy every craving, from comforting savoury mains to dazzling, icy showstoppers.

Whether you are planning a grand takeaway feast for the family or an intimate dine-in gathering, Swensen’s 2025 offerings are crafted to bring loved ones together.

We recently had the pleasure of sampling some of the highlights, and the general consensus is that the team has been generous with both portion sizes and flavour, justifying the festive price points.

One of the key new items is the luxurious Creamy Tomato Seafood Stew ($59).

This seafood boil on a smaller scale is a treasure trove of oceanic gems, including fish fillets, slipper lobsters, pristine prawns, clams, and a flower crab, all bathed in a gently spiced tomato-cream broth.

The broth is lip smacking good and the accompanying crusty garlic baguette is a perfect vehicle for soaking up every last drop of the rich sauce.

Next up, the classic Herb Roast Chicken ($60). Featuring a whole, juicy chicken infused with herbs, this makes an excellent centerpiece for any holiday table.

Moving to the sides, the Honey Roasted Vegetables ($24.90) offers a much-needed splash of colour and fibre. This multi-hued mix of brussels sprouts, cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, and more is finely roasted with honey, offering a delicate sweetness that balances the savoury mains.

A surprise delight was the Baked Duck Mac & Cheese ($38.90).

This dish elevates the humble classic with fork-tender duck mixed into creamy, cheesy pasta and baked golden. The fusion of tender duck with the familiar, gooey mac and cheese transforms it from a simple side into a festive main that makes for a unique, hearty carb option.

Of course, no celebration at Swensen’s is complete without an ice cream cake, and the new Halo Christmas ($59 for 600g) is the undisputed highlight.

Sensual and sensational, this halo-shaped confection boasts a sleek, satin crimson sheen. Its filling of tangy Raspberry ice cream is encircled by a luscious White Chocolate ice cream, with a hidden ribbon of white chocolate praline in between. It also comes crowned with raspberries, chocolate sticks and golden crumbles.
