Crunchyroll Brings World-First Anime Premieres to AFA Singapore 2025

Crunchyroll has secured exclusive streaming rights to Release That Witch and will host an exciting world-premiere showcase featuring three unreleased titles: Release That Witch, Fire Force Season 3 Cour 2, and An Adventurer’s Daily Grind at Age 29.

For one afternoon only on Friday, 28 November 2025 (1:30 PM – 4:30 PM) at Room 331, Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre, AFA attendees will be among the first in the world to watch these premieres, ahead of their global launch on Crunchyroll. Entry is open to all AFA ticket holders on a first-come, first-served basis, with strict no-recording rules in place.

The exclusive marathon will spotlight:

  • Release That Witch (World Premiere) – A modern man reborn as a prince leads a magical and technological revolution against rising darkness.
  • Fire Force Season 3 Cour 2 (World & APAC Premieres) – Shinra and Company 8 return to battle spontaneous human combustion and unravel fiery conspiracies.
  • An Adventurer’s Daily Grind at Age 29 (World Premiere) – A former street orphan’s quiet life takes a turn when he rescues a mysterious girl from danger.
  • Plus special screenings of Lord of Mysteries and My Awkward Senpai, fan-favorite series that balance thrilling worlds with heartfelt storytelling.

Adding even more excitement, fans can meet top anime creators and voice stars throughout the weekend:

  • Yusuke Kobayashi, the voice of Arthur Boyle in Fire Force, joins an exclusive meet & greet and panel on Sunday, 30 November, 3 PM at the AFA Day Stage.
  • Ke Xiong (Director/Producer) and Liu Xing (Chief Screenwriter) of Lord of Mysteries will appear on Friday, 28 November, 2 PM for a creator panel sharing insights into the hit adaptation.

Crunchyroll’s expanded presence at AFA Singapore 2025 will also include an immersive 105-square-metre booth, featuring Fire Force, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, and Lord of Mysteries. Expect interactive games, photo zones, and the return of the signature “anime tunnel”.
