Anytime Fitness Launches First-Ever Fitness Festival in Singapore: “Battle of the Purple Champions”

Anytime Fitness is set to paint OCBC Square purple on 31 January 2026 for its first-ever fitness festival, Battle of the Purple Champions (BOPC).

Far more than a workout, this one-day festival celebrates the community spirit that has fueled Anytime Fitness’ growth to 150 clubs across the nation. It’s a vibrant showcase of camaraderie, resilience, and the kampong spirit that drives members, and newcomers alike, to keep moving forward.

Train For Your Life: A Call to Move with Purpose

Rooted in the brand’s regional campaign, Train For Your Life, BOPC is designed to inspire people to move with intention, not perfection. It’s a call to start the new year strong, building everyday strength through connection, consistency, and fun.

The Challenge: Four Stations, One Goal

Teams of four will compete in four exciting functional challenges inspired by real-life movements:

  • Moving Day – Coordinate as a team to “rearrange furniture” and match a given layout.
  • Sandbag Shuffle – Lift, load, and push weight plates on a sled car in perfect sync.
  • Bike Race – Cycle 500m each with resistance, syncing power and endurance.
  • Champion’s Climb – Conquer a stair-climbing finale with kettlebells and obstacles.

Each challenge embodies Anytime Fitness’ belief that true fitness prepares you for life beyond the gym.

Beyond the Arena: Fitness Meets Festival Fun

BOPC isn’t just for competitors, it’s a family-friendly celebration packed with carnival games, food stalls, and interactive zones. From mini fitness stations to live demos and quick challenges, everyone can join in the action. Expect prizes, giveaways, and a sure-win lucky draw for anyone who signs up for an Anytime Fitness membership on the day, with rewards including a 1-year gym membership, a Nintendo Switch, or the new iPhone 17.

The festival will also feature a wellness and lifestyle marketplace, offering wholesome bites, recovery experiences, and mini fitness stations where participants can test their strength and win small prizes. Complimentary refreshments will be provided for all attendees throughout the day.
