Changi Airport & Jewel Launch Spectacular Disney-Themed Festive Celebration to Close Out the Year

Changi Airport and Jewel Changi Airport are turning the year-end holidays into a magical celebration as Disney takes over the terminals with enchanting décor, festive activities, exclusive collectibles, and immersive Disney-themed experiences. Kicking off today, visitors can expect a season of wonder spanning beloved Disney, Pixar, and Marvel stories brought to life across multiple terminals and inside Jewel.

A Disney Cruise Adventure Lights Up Jewel

As night falls, Jewel’s iconic HSBC Rain Vortex transforms into “The Magic of Adventure”: a brand-new 3.5-minute Light & Music Showcase inspired by Disney Cruise Line. The show spotlights seven themed areas onboard the upcoming Disney Adventure ship, with glowing medallions and appearances from fan-favourite Disney, Pixar, and Marvel characters.

Disney-Themed Installations & Photo Spots at Changi Airport

Over at Terminal 3 (T3) Departure Hall, step aboard a magical 6.5-metre ship installation modeled after the Disney Adventure’s bow, featuring Captain Mickey and Captain Minnie. Snap a photo and redeem a printed keepsake with qualifying spend (until 4 January 2026).

Surrounding the ship are four whimsical pop-up storybook-style photo zones inspired by the ship’s themed areas:

  • Imagination Garden – Featuring Sorcerer Mickey and a fairytale castle
  • Town Square – Dedicated to Disney Royals including Snow White & Elsa, plus a peek into Olaf’s dining room
  • Marvel Landing – With Iron Man in futuristic “Stark-itecture” style
  • Captain Mickey’s Cabin – A cosy festive space with memorabilia and framed memories

Meet-and-greet sessions with Disney Cruise Line characters and daily snow shows at T3 add to the magical holiday atmosphere.

Fans can also spot character topiaries across terminals, including:

  • Baymax at T1 (Big Hero 6)
  • Duffy, ShellieMay & StellaLou at T2

Dive Into Underwater Fun & DIY Crafts

At T3 Basement 2, journey “under the sea” through a multi-sensory pop-up inspired by Disney Adventure’s Disney Discovery Reef. Expect vibrant ocean-themed installations featuring Ariel, Ursula, and Dory, plus beach-themed chill-out vibes.

Visitors can redeem a DIY Disney Cruise Line travel journal activity, with optional top-ups for decorating a tote bag or mug. A paid add-on lets guests hot-press custom designs onto their creation.

Disney Carnival Fun & Stamp Rally

From now till 4 January, the “Unleash the Holidays Carnival” at T3 brings Disney-themed games and claw machines to life for families and kids. Earn tokens with qualifying spend, Mastercard users enjoy bonus rewards.

Little adventurers can also join a stamp rally, collecting seven Disney Cruise Line-themed stamps across the airport to complete a special postcard and redeem 10 carnival tokens.
