SG Enable Launches i’mable Collective Space to Celebrate 10 Years of Enabling Village and Champion Pan-Disability Creativity

SG Enable, Singapore’s focal agency for disability and inclusion, marks the 10th anniversary of Enabling Village with the unveiling of the i’mable Collective Space: a first-of-its-kind showcase dedicated to pan-disability creatives in design and the arts.

Spanning over 800 square metres, the new space brings together eight partners under one roof, serving as an integrated hub featuring a retail store, gallery, studio, and café. Beyond a showcase, it acts as an incubation ground for innovative training and employment models, empowering persons with disabilities through creative enterprise and collaboration.

Managed by weareSuper, the design-led lifestyle brand by Supermama, the i’mable Collective Space aims to foster partnerships between social enterprises, social service agencies, small businesses, and creatives with disabilities creating opportunities to co-design, exhibit, and retail their work.

Design Social: The Debut Exhibition

Kicking off the launch is Design Social, the inaugural exhibition running from 1 October to 12 December 2025 at the Young Gallery. The showcase explores inclusive and accessibility-focused design, featuring works from EMERGE 2025: Dialogue through Design, first presented at FIND – Design Fair Asia during Singapore Design Week.

Visitors can expect community-led projects and Southeast Asian works that reimagine tradition through contemporary design, highlighting how creativity can address social, cultural, and environmental challenges.

A Model for Inclusive Collaboration

The i’mable Collective Space builds on past successes such as the 2024 collaboration between i’mable Collective and the Singapore Fashion Council, where over 40 persons with disabilities trained and worked with local enterprises to launch an inclusive, sustainable fashion capsule at DORS at Design Orchard.

Located at Enabling Village, 20 Lengkok Bahru, the i’mable Collective Space is open daily from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.
