Anime Festival Asia (AFA) is making its long-awaited return to Hong Kong on 14–15 February 2026, as the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre transforms into the ultimate hub for all things anime, cosplay, gaming, and J-pop culture.
Since its debut in 2008, AFA has grown into one of Asia’s largest and most influential Japanese pop culture conventions. For over 17 years, it has brought together anime lovers, creators, and industry leaders, celebrating everything from anime and cosplay to music and gaming.
After its successful collaboration with the C3 Japan Anime & Game Expo between 2017 and 2019, under the C3AFA banner, AFA’s 2026 return marks a thrilling new chapter. Its comeback highlights Hong Kong’s importance as a vibrant hub for ACG (Anime, Comics, and Games) culture in the region.
