FUJIFILM Singapore has officially opened X Space at Suntec City, a 3,358-square-foot creative destination that blends retail, heritage, and visual culture. The new venue pays homage to Fujifilm’s storied past in photography while showcasing the brand’s cutting-edge innovations, from X Series cameras and GFX systems to instax, FUJINON Cine Lenses, Z Projectors, and photo printing solutions.
At the heart of X Space lies the Heritage Corner, featuring vintage cameras, early Fujifilm logos, and classic products that chart the company’s evolution in imaging. A striking X Series showcase wall displays the progression from the X-T1 to the X-T5.
Complementing this is a gallery space spotlighting rotating exhibitions by Fujifilm photographers. The inaugural showcase features Russel Wong, one of Singapore’s most celebrated photographers, whose cinematic portraits captured on the GFX medium format system highlight the precision and depth of Fujifilm’s imaging technology.
Designed as an interactive hub, X Space offers visitors hands-on experiences across every aspect of photography. A darkroom-inspired photo booth lets younger guests explore the roots of film photography, while the instax and photo printing zones celebrate instant creativity. Dedicated sections for binoculars, cinema lenses, and projectors expand the narrative of visual storytelling.
Adding a local artistic touch, visitors can also admire “The Kitsune and Singa Cub”, a sculptural installation by Singaporean artist Tobyato (Toby Tan). The piece merges Japanese folklore with Singaporean symbolism, depicting a fox spirit adorned with camera parts beside a lion cub nestled in a Fujifilm film canister, a striking metaphor for Fujifilm’s wisdom, innovation, and dynamic future in the Lion City.
To mark its opening, X Space introduces limited-edition T-shirts inspired by Fujifilm’s iconic film simulations:
These designs, available exclusively at X Space, fuse streetwear style with the nostalgia of analog photography.
FUJIFILM X Space is located at Suntec City Mall, Tower 1 & 2 Atrium, #02-486/487.
