A Weekend of Whodunit Awaits: Murder Mystery Returns to Cempedak Island

This November, luxury meets intrigue as Cempedak Island brings back its immersive Murder Mystery Weekend for a second thrilling edition. From 7 to 9 November 2025, the private island resort off the east coast of Bintan, Indonesia, will transform into a stage of secrets, deception, and dramatic twists brought to life by professional actors from Evolve School of Performing Arts.

A Mystery to Unravel

The debut edition in April captivated guests with unexpected plot turns woven seamlessly into the island experience. Actors mingled incognito, hidden clues surfaced in unexpected places, and the story culminated in a dramatic reveal over dinner on the jetty. This year, the mystery deepens, promising new storylines and even more immersive encounters across the island’s lush landscape.

Luxury and Suspense Intertwined

While the plot thickens, guests will still enjoy Cempedak’s signature barefoot luxury from gourmet dining and cocktails by the sea to adventure walks, kayaking, snorkelling, tennis, yoga, and more. Every corner of the island becomes a potential crime scene… or a clue. The intrigue begins before you even arrive, with some participants receiving their first clue on the 11:10am ferry from Singapore.
